Most outdoor enthusiasts in Fort Mill know the secret of the 2,000+ acre Anne Springs Close Greenway. This park includes miles of walking trails, wedding spots, swinging bridges, playing fields, stables and horse trails. It is free to Fort Mill residents and a contribution of $2 for all other visitors.

Outdoor Activity Wonderland

The Greenway has something fun for every outdoor lover. The more active guests can enjoy hiking, fishing, mountain biking and boating. Technology and nature combine with “Geocaching” at the Greenway. This activity is an outdoor scavenger hunt using GPS devices and GPS coordinates. Children’s Camps Start at the Adventure Center

The Adventure Center sits between Lakes Crandall and Francis. Outdoor nature camps take place at the center in the “Adventure Seekers” program from June through August for children ages 6 to 14. Children participate in fishing, mountain biking, archery and more. Week-long equestrian camps are also available in June for riders of various skill levels.

Get Physical at the Recreation Center

You will not have to worry about your fitness level here, work out opportunities are available for all types of fitness junkies. The Recreation Center boasts an indoor, Olympic-sized pool and equipment for weight training and cardio. Adults can also take classes including yoga, karate, and line dancing.

The Most Popular Venue in Fort Mill

Planning a wedding? You might consider the Dairy Barn. The authentic venue built in 1947 has recently been renovated for indoor and outdoor weddings. The barn accommodates more than 400 people and includes an outdoor patio area. The venue is perfect for receptions, fund raisers, corporate retreats and more!
