Best Holiday Light Displays In Charlotte
It’s that time of year again! Christmas lights are popping up everywhere and some are much more extravagant than others. Here is a list of the best light displays the Queen City has to offer:
Join “Christmas Town USA” for their 58th year of celebration! McAdenville is sandwiched between Interstate 85 and U.S. 29-74 and the lights can be seen for free. Visitors can either walk or drive through the streets of light displays. The lights will be displayed until Dec. 26. Take a look at the festival website for more details.

Holidays at the Garden
Organic rhythms of nature and abundant fascinations come together to create a new holiday harmony this year at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Their contemporary lighting display will brighten your holidays and the fire pit will keep you and your loved ones warm. Tickets are $12 for adults, $11 for seniors and $6 for children 4-12. The gardens are at 6500 South New Hope Road in Belmont, NC.
Every day 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Speedway Christmas is returning to Charlotte Motor Speedway and the spectacular holiday light show will be even bigger and better in its fourth year. Enjoy this unique experience with more than three million lights in 800 displays and an infield Christmas Village complete and the chance to drive the track. Admission is $20 per car when the Christmas village is open. Check out the movie schedule to see what movies will be showing on the world’s largest HDTV during the show.
