Carolina Renaissance Festival | 20th Anniversary Season
The Renaissance Festival is a 16th century European style art and entertainment festival combining outdoor theater, circus entertainment, arts and crafts marketplace, a jousting tournament, a feast fit for royalty and much more! The festival is open every Saturday and Sunday from Oct. 5th – Nov. 24th.
20th Anniversary Season
The famous Renaissance Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary with special guests and an exciting atmosphere. The headliner for the last few weekends in November is Broon! Broon brings his unique conversational comedy style and “bad boy” persona to the Carolina Renaissance Festival for the first time. Dry wit and sly humor accompany a variety of tricks and stunts that are sure to keep you entertained from start to end! Broon will be performing on the Palace Stage November 23rd and 24th.
The Renaissance Festival has entertainment for everyone young and old! 500 costumes characters wander around town while knights on horseback joust three times a day! There are 11 stages, the world’s largest rocking horse, rides and games. When you work up a hunger from all the fun, there are over 100 craft and food vendors. Music and entertainment surrounds you as you travel back in time to the Renaissance.
The festival happens from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. rain or shine throughout the last weekend in November. Tickets are $22 for adults and $12 for kids ages 5 – 12. Advanced ticket discounts are available at Harris Teeter grocery stores for $1 off. Children under 5 receive free admission and parking is free!
