An ugly win, maybe, but a Win!
The Panthers came out of their two game funk with just 2 minutes to the half when Cam led the offense to its first touchdown to bring the team to 21-14 (Bears) at the half. It was an impressive drive, he threw with pinpoint accuracy and moved the team downfield, almost effortlessly.
The defense came alive and became what we expected going back to games 1 and 2.

Tomorrow night the Carolina Panthers face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers -- without Cam Newton who is out with a fractured rib -- in their final preseason matchup (7:30pm on FOX). If you live in south Charlotte you'd be forgiven for seldom getting out on the waters of Lake Norman. For one thing, there aren't any public beaches available -- if you want to get out on the water you have to own n some property, or a boat. I've lived in Charlotte most of my life (since 4th grade minus college and a few years in Raleigh) and have only been out on Lake Norman a few times -- until yesterday.
