Riverbend Farm Pumpkin Patches Afternoon and weekends in October

My favorite part of fall is how the sun is still shining but there is a slight chill in the air! Of course the Pumpkin Patches! Final farewell to Nikki’s Creation of a New Mythology Saturday Night 10/1

The artist, Nikki de Saint Phalle  has developed a style of art that has a fun use of color and seductive pull that draws you in.   Her powerful sculptures have been displayed in Charlotte at the Fourth Floor Gallery, Second Floor Terrace, and The Green.  Large works on the Green are perfect for the younger ones! Mecktober Festival

Celeberate Charlotte’s German heritage, come all ye to The 3rd Annual Mecktober Fest for a German-Style atmosphere (can anyone say Octoberfest?)  at Charlotte’s Home Town Brewery on October 1st 12 pm-10pm.    Celebrate with fresh beer, food, and 3 live bands all day into the evening.   And once again to the stage this year is the 9-piece Holzhackern Tyrolean Band for some fun Bavarian music!   Buy your tickets now this event will sell out Tix !

9th Annual Great Grapes Wine Tasting At Southpark

Saturday 10/1 11-7

“Uncork” and try HUNDREDS of wines at this casual wine tasting festival while listening to live music and feel free to bring a lawn chair and the kids. More than 20 wineries will be there Plus  kids activities, wine and food pairing all at the beautiful Symphony at the Park at SouthPark Mall. AutumnFaire at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
