The Queen City is booming with fun events this summer and this week features the most delicious event of them all – Restaurant Week! Check out the details for Restaurant Week and the other highlights for this weekend that are all family friendly!

Summer Restaurant Week! | July 19 – 28

Charlotte’s Restaurant Week is back and the food is fit for a queen! Often known as the best time of the year, this week will showcase over 100 upscale restaurants with great deals. Each restaurant will feature a three course meal for just $30 at many of Charlotte’s top restaurants. Visit the event’s website for a full list of restaurants and menus participating in the special occasion. Bon appétit!

Farmers Market Series | July 20

Apprecaite the farmers market atmosphere at Harper’s Restaurant! Join the Harper’s family at the Carolina Place location for a part of the “Farmers Market Series – The Charlotte Trinity.” The event will feature tons of fresh produce and lessons on how to cook with corn, peppers and tomatoes.

 

Bearded DragonPetapalooza | July 20

Here is another great summer activity for families! Petapalooza at the Charlotte Nature Museum will be this Saturday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The event will feature rescued pets along with exotic animals. Learn about pet care while playing with bunnies, snakes and lizards. For families that are not ready to take on a pet of their own, don’t worry! The event will also feature pet rock making for the ultimate low-maintenance companion. Petapalooza will be free upon regular museum admission.

Abbey Road LIVE! | July 20

Do not miss your chance to see one of the world’s greatest Beatles cover bands this Saturday at the Visulite Theatre! The event is 16+ and is only $12 in advance and $14 at the door. This unique cover band will perform great musical interpretations of classic Beatles tunes. The doors will open at 8 p.m. and Abbey Road LIVE! will begin at 9:30 p.m.
