The Queen City has a lot of fun-filled activities approaching within the next two weeks. From fashion to football – Charlotte is putting everything on display to kick off the beginning of the fall season!

Yiasou Greek Festival | Sept 5 – 8

Greek Festival

Don’t miss one of Charlotte’s largest cultural evens! The ever-popular Yiasou Greek Festival is back for its 36th year to give the Queen City another taste of Greek culture. Admission to the event is only $3 and children under 12 are admitted free of charge. The festival showcases authentic Greek dancing, art and (most importantly) food! For those who can’t make it to the festival, there is also a drive through to purchase your favorite homemade Greek eats. For more details on hours, the menu and entertainment, check out the festival’s website.

Back. Fashion + Rock + Art | Sept 6

The NC Music Factory is hosting a tremendously trendy event this weekend to stimulate your creative side! The event will feature a rock performance by The Black Cadillacs and live art by three talented artists. The event will also have a runway experience and trunk show produced by Revolution. The fashion featured includes Hudson, Joe’s Jeans, AS by DF and more. For tickets and more details on this event you can check out their website.

Panthers FootballPanthers vs. Seahawks | Sept 8

The regular football season is finally here for all of you Carolina Panthers fans! The Panthers will be taking on the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday at 1 p.m. Whether you’re coming to see Cam Newton, the Top Cats or to soak up the atmosphere, the game is guaranteed to be fun. If you want to see the Carolinas’ favorite NFL team purchase your tickets online (that link actually does work – not sure why it likes the strike-through) today.
