The temperature this week is just about perfect for getting outside and seeing what the Queen City has to offer! With the warm weather comes the fun festivals! Check out the fun events going on the weekend in the greater Charlotte area!

North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival | May 10

Beer Glasses DrinkingJust a few minutes away from Charlotte is the wonderful N.C. Brewers and Music Festival in Huntersville, N.C. The festival provides an amazing day of local craft beer and live music and it all takes place on a non-profit farm in Rural Hill! If you purchase a 21 and over ticket, you will be given admission to the six performing bands and the right to try as many beers as you would like (for free!) during the 3 hour tasting session, after which most brewers will transition to beer sales. Carolina Clay Matters Pottery Festival | May 10

Carolina Clay Matters is holding their semi-annual pottery festival this Saturday at the Barn at McAlpine Business Park. Pottery show times are Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. Access to the show is free with the opportunity to purchase several amazing pottery creations from local talent! Lake Norman Fine Arts Festival | May 10-11

huntersville -lake normanThe 2nd Annual Lake Norman Fine Arts Festival is back this weekend! The festival is this Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. in Birkdale Village. Come explore an outdoor display of artwork and choose your favorites from works in painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glass, ceramics, woodworking and more.
