It is that time of year again! The famous (and free!) Festival in the Park is coming back to Freedom Park. The festival will be Sept. 20-22 for its 49th anniversary!

Freedom Park Family Fun

Festival in the Park brings entertainment for families, friends and everything in between! This year there will be performances on the main stage Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday. The “Family Fun Zone” surrounds the Freedom Park Locomotive and provides exciting activities for the younger festival goers. The magician’s stage will also be featuring various magicians and shows by the Carolina Raptor Center throughout the weekend.

The artists’ section of the festival will be part of the “Artist’s Walk” that runs throughout the park. All of the festival spectators will get the chance to meet and speak with any of the artists.
