Talk to the farmers who grew them- North Carolina and South Carolina growers come together under two barn like structures to sell, just about everything grownin the area, from watermelons to bok choy, cilantra ($1.00) per large bundle to fresh zucchinni, cucumbers and corn.
So how much would this amount of produce cost at Harris Teeter?
3 large tomatoes, 2 yellow squash, 2 zucchini, 1 avocado, 2 pints blueberries, 4 ears of corn, 1 baby bok choy, 1 bundle cilantro, 1 celery, 1 cantaloupe one heavy bag $16.61. Who says fresh has to cost more?
You can try their fresh jams, honey and nuts. OR, grass fed chicken and beef- imagine no human growth hormones or antibiotics.
