Charlotte, NC

Late-night food options aren’t exclusive to college towns, the Queen City has plenty of delicious choices for those with a late-night craving. These restaurants all offer tasty treats until midnight or later:

Mac’s Speed Shop

Mac's Speed Shop BBQ

Not only is Mac’s one of the best spots in Charlotte for barbecue, you can also get the great food in the wee hours of the morning! Mac’s has three Charlotte-area locations that are all open until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The South Boulevard location is even open until 2 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. If you find yourself craving a BBQ sandwich paired with creamy baked mac & cheese late at night, Mac’s is the place for you.

Amelie’s French Bakery

Amelie's French Bakery NoDa

Are you a late-night sweets person? This famous bakery in NoDa is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The french bakery is a popular place for sweet treats, specialty beverages, coffee and chic décor at any time of day. Whether you’re waking up early to get your day started or ending your night with a brownie, Amelie’s has something for everyone.

Mortimer’s Café & Pub

Mortimer’s is everyone’s favorite neighborhood pub nestled in the heart of the city. Located in the Epicentre, Mortimer’s serves everyone great food and drinks until 2 a.m. every night. Mortimer’s even has a special late-night menu tailored to your late night cravings. Mozzarella sticks and pretzel bites at 1 a.m. sound great to me!

Fuel Pizza Café

Fuel Pizza Southend

Pizza is often a favorite choice for a late-night treat and Fuel Pizza will do the trick! Fuel has New York-style pizza (available gluten-free) and popular wings. The original Fuel is located on Central Avenue and there are two other locations in the Charlotte area. All locations are open until 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday to settle your cheesy craving.

I am the owner and operator of CharlotteCommunitiesOnline.com and was inspired to create this website when I moved my young family of 6 down to Charlotte from the northeast, now over 20 years ago. Charlotte quickly became home to us and I wanted to create a website that would help individuals and families considering a move to Charlotte. I'm also the owner of The McDonald Group at eXp Realty (my day job) and have helped hundreds of folks relocate to Charlotte over the years.
